Put TEKTUNE on your phone

Add TEKTUNE to your Home Screen and turn on notifications for messages, assignments and announcements.

TEKTUNE works in any browser, but on a phone it's best installed on your Home Screen - that's what lets it send you notifications even when it isn't open.

iPhone or iPad

  1. Open shop.tektune.com in Safari and sign in.
  2. Tap the Share button in Safari's toolbar.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open TEKTUNE from the new icon on your Home Screen.

When you open TEKTUNE in Safari on a phone, it shows these same steps on screen.

Android

  1. Open shop.tektune.com in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap Install TEKTUNE when it's offered, or open Chrome's menu and choose Install app / Add to Home screen.

Turn on notifications

  1. Open TEKTUNE from the Home Screen icon.
  2. When TEKTUNE asks, tap Enable Notifications, then allow them.

Choose what you're notified about - messages, assignments, announcements and everything else - in your profile. If you blocked notifications by mistake, TEKTUNE shows a banner with How to enable them.

On a Windows computer, the TEKTUNE Message Center desktop app gives you message notifications too - see Message Center for Windows.
