Message Center for Windows

Keep Message Center in its own window on a Windows computer, with Windows notifications and an unread badge.

TEKTUNE Message Center is a small Windows app that keeps Message Center open in its own window, shows a Windows notification for each new message and puts your unread count on its taskbar and tray icon.

Install it

  1. On a Windows computer, open TEKTUNE in your browser and open Message Center.
  2. Click ↗ (Open in its own window) at the top of Message Center.
  3. The first time, TEKTUNE downloads the installer. Run it.
  4. Click ↗ again. The app signs in as you and opens Message Center.

From then on, ↗ brings the app to the front.

Using it

  • New messages pop up as Windows notifications. The app's icon shows how many messages are unread, and the count clears as you read them - on any device.
  • Links in messages open in your normal browser.
  • Inside the app you only get message notifications; task and fleet alerts stay in the browser.

Signing the app out

Use Sign Out in the desktop app itself. An Administrator Manager can also sign out any of your devices, including the desktop app, from Employees.

There's no Mac version - on a Mac, keep TEKTUNE open in a browser tab, or install it from Chrome or Safari as an app.
