Tasks, points and the leaderboard
Needs Immediate Attention tasks, the daily task list, vehicle concern tasks, and how points add up on the weekly leaderboard.
Work in TEKTUNE earns points. The weekly leaderboard shows who's done the most, and resets every Monday.
Needs Immediate Attention
One-off jobs anyone can pick up: restock gloves, move a car, call a customer back.
- Click + New Task > Shop Task.
- Type the task and any notes, then click Add task. Everyone with the module is notified.
- Whoever does it ticks the checkbox and earns the points. You can't complete a task you created yourself - another team member has to.

Managers can change a task's Points or Delete it. Other cards show up here too: New Customer Forms, e-signings in progress, and Quality Control tasks from Tekmetric.
Daily tasks
The Daily Tasks block is the shop's recurring checklist for today - sweep the bays, check supplies. Tick each one as it's done.
Managers set up the list from the gear menu > Daily Tasks:
- Click + New Daily Task.
- Enter the task, its points, optional notes, and the days it shows up (Active days).
- Click Add daily task. Drag tasks to reorder them, or use Edit and Delete.

Under Today's Tasks you can delete just today's copy of a task without changing the recurring list.
Vehicle concern tasks
When an Advisor or Manager sends a car's concern to the Task Board (from New Service on the rental fleet), a technician picks it up, checks the car and clicks Submit Findings - notes, what they found, the mileage and up to 4 photos. Managers then open View Findings and can Create New Repair.
How points work
- Standard values: rental inspection 3, Needs Immediate Attention task 2, daily task 1. Administrator Managers change the defaults in Modules and Permissions.
- A daily task or a Needs Immediate Attention task can have its own points.
- The leaderboard counts Monday to Sunday. Click it to open Reports.
- If the shop turns it on, a Weekly Points Winner announcement goes to everyone on Friday evening.
