Modules and Permissions
Turn features on or off for the whole shop or for one role, and set how many points each kind of work is worth.
Open Shop Settings > Modules and Permissions. Every feature of TEKTUNE is a module - if your shop already uses another tool for something, turn that module off.
Turn a module on or off
- The switch on a module turns it on or off for the whole shop.
- Open Per-role overrides under a module to leave it on shop-wide but turn it off for one role - for example the leaderboard for Technicians.
Open pages refresh by themselves when you change a module. Turning a module off hides it - nothing is deleted, and turning it back on brings everything back.
The modules: Task Dashboard (rental turnover inspections), Daily Tasks, One-off Tasks (Needs Immediate Attention), Vehicle Concern Tasks, Rental Car Tracking, Leaderboard, Messaging, Time Off, Lockboxes, Special Tool Inventory, Time Clock, Electronic Signatures, New Customer Form, and Kiosks and Dashboards (whole shop only).
Point values
Under Point Values, set the standard points for a Rental inspection, a One-off task, a Rental service, a Daily task and an Assignment, then click Save. Single daily tasks and Needs Immediate Attention tasks can still have their own points. See How points work.
