Rental inspection items

Open Shop Settings > Rental Inspection. Items added here show on every Rental Turnover Inspection, under the fuel gauge.

Add an item

1. Type the item under New inspection item - for example "Alignment Condition".
2. Click Add item.

Use the arrows to change the order, Rename to fix a name, or Remove to take it off. A shop can have up to 40 items.

How technicians use them

• Each item is rated with a green check (good), a yellow ! (needs future attention) or a red X (needs immediate attention), with an optional note and photo.
• Every item needs a rating before the inspection can be submitted.
• Anything marked yellow or red flags the car for review automatically, and every rating goes into the inspection summary.

Changing this list never changes inspections that were already submitted. An inspection in progress shows the new list the next time it's opened.
