Shop: name, address, logo, schedule, points and weekly announcements
Set your shop's name, address, logo, time zone and work days, how many points each kind of work is worth, and the weekly announcements.
Open Shop Settings > Shop (called Shop Info before October 2026). The page has four cards: Your shop, Schedule, Points and Weekly announcements. Each card saves on its own.

Your shop: logo, name and address
- Click the logo square (or Upload logo) and choose a PNG, JPG or WEBP up to 8 MB. It's saved straight away.
- Enter the shop name, street address, city, state and ZIP.
- Click Save.
Your logo appears on rental agreements, forms, and the kiosk and dashboard screens.
TEKTUNE finds your shop on the map from the address. That location is what the time clock checks people against, and how GPS trackers know a car is parked at the shop. If the address can't be found, TEKTUNE says so - check the spelling, and leave out the suite number if there is one.
Schedule: time zone and work days
Choose your shop's Time zone, tick the Work days your shop is open, and click Save (it saves both). Until you save work days, every day counts as a work day.
- The time zone decides when "today" starts for daily tasks, Shop Hours and the dates printed on agreements and time cards.
- Time off doesn't count the days you're closed. A request only uses hours for days the shop is open and the person works (their own work days are set in Employees > Manage). Saving new work days recounts the time off requests that haven't ended yet; past ones stay as they were.
- The time off calendar shades the days you're closed.
- Shop Hours doesn't show closed days. Hours that come in from Tekmetric on a closed day count on the nearest work day in the same week (Monday to Sunday) - the next one if there is one, otherwise the one before. With Saturday and Sunday closed, both count on Friday.
- The weekly Shop Hours announcement goes out on the last work day of the week.
Changing work days is kept in the Shop Hours edit log.
Points
Set the standard points for a Rental inspection, a One-off task (Needs Immediate Attention), a Rental service, a Daily task and an Assignment, then click Save. Each must be a whole number of 1 or more.
These are the shop-wide defaults. A single daily task or Needs Immediate Attention task can still have its own points, set on its own page. See How points work.
Weekly announcements
Each switch saves as soon as you flip it.
- Points winner - on Friday nights at 7 PM, TEKTUNE posts the week's points winner to everyone in the TEKTUNE - System chat, with a notification. Nothing is posted in a week nobody earned points.
- Shop Hours (beta) - at 7 PM on the shop's last work day of the week, TEKTUNE posts the week's Shop Hours total - with the weekly goal and how close you came, and the best day - to everyone whose role can see Shop Hours, in the TEKTUNE - System chat, with a notification. It can only be switched on while the Shop Hours module and the Tekmetric integration are on, and it's off until you switch it on.
Each is posted once a week, as soon as TEKTUNE is open at or after that time for someone who manages tasks (the points winner) or can see Shop Hours (Shop Hours). If nobody like that has TEKTUNE open in time - before Friday ends for the points winner, before Sunday ends for Shop Hours - that week's announcement is skipped.
